Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jyrska Velmu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wolfgang Schleicher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Velmu comes to the cage accompanied by UFO - Doctor Doctor. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velmu fails with a takedown attempt.
Schleicher throws a series of punches but Velmu moves out of range.
Schleicher connects with a body shot.

Velmu feints and as Schleicher raises his hands in defense, Velmu changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Velmu is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Schleicher is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Schleicher has escaped and now he's on top!

Schleicher gets to his feet. Velmu looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Horrible takedown by Schleicher or perhaps it was just good defense by Velmu which made him look bad.

and Schleicher connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

so Velmu counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Velmu drops back, looking for a kneebar! Schleicher looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Schleicher looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Schleicher!

The crowd seem to be enjoying Sherki's choice of entrance music: Rise Against - Prayer of the Refugee . Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Souza drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Souza seems to have locked his on tight now - Sherki screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Souza, as he picks up the win!
