With a record of 14 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yoji Anjo Anjo! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santaban throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Anjo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. A momentary lapse in concentration from Santaban enables Anjo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Santaban manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Santaban keeping moving, preventing Anjo from controlling successfully. Anjo throws a big elbow that misses. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Walker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Derrick Barnes ! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barnes attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Barnes lunges at Walker with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Walker's hand. A clash of legs there as Barnes blocks the low kick. Walker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Walker fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Barnes checks it well. Walker fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
