This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 0 losses; Gul Dukat! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 34 wins and 35 losses; Pacer Dalton! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Dalton looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Horrible takedown attempt by Dukat or perhaps it was just good defense by Dalton, which made it look bad. Dukat has been working on his balance at The House Of Pain, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Dalton. Dukat tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dalton sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dukat somewhat. Dukat shoots in looking for a takedown. Dalton tries to sprawl out of it but Dukat keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dalton manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gul Dukat. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dukat looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dalton is fending him off so far but Dukat persists. Nope, Dalton circles away and we're back to standing.
