Silva won't allow Saputra to sweep him here. Saputra seems keen to control Silva's posture. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silva controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Saputra looking to hit a scissor sweep but Silva is one step ahead there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Saputra has his hands on Silva's head, controlling the position. The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Danner tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dangerfield swats him away and circles back towards the center. #TD# Dangerfield looking to shoot here. The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Kavanagh and Russell Pearce.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Joon shoots in looking for a takedown but Solo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Joon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Solo half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Joon fails with the takedown.#CL# Solo darts in and clinches Joon up against the cage. Joon tries to pull guard but Solo won't allow it.
Hand Solo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mae Joon. Joon is trying to drag Solo to the mat but Solo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Joon can't get the takedown.
