Kong shoots in and bounces Castiana off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Kong's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Kong has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Castiana is really squeezing tight and eventually Kong passes out! Castiana breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Jeffrey Franklin had a terrible time trying to make weight. After initially coming in at 273.6, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. Stepping on the scales for a second time, he still failed to make the required weight and after much deliberation, his fight with Teddy Greenburg was cancelled.

Legrand tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fobbs sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Legrand somewhat.
Fobbs displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Legrand.
Legrand takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Legrand will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hurry Fobbs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fernand Legrand.

Legrand feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
