The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mussum scores with a kick to the body.
Werdum looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Werdum takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Mussum chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Mussum drops Werdum with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Werdum looks back up at him and smiles so Mussum waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like Fabricio Werdum has been cut. Mussum feints a jab and as Werdum dips his head, Mussum unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Werdum right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Werdum falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Mussum smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Balada throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Balada fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Balada lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Kokucka throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Balada was covering up waiting for the punch and Kokucka finishes the takedown easily into guard. Kokucka looking to pass the guard. Balada wants to stand and escape but Kokucka is having none of it. Balada trying to keep a closed guard but Kokucka is proving a slippery customer.
Kokucka thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Balada is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kokucka is controlling him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kokucka drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kokucka jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kokucka is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kokucka drops back looking for a leg! Balada is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Balada manages to kick Kokucka off! Kokucka jumps back into Balada's guard. Balada is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Balada throws a good cross that connects.
Tony Balada is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Balada scores with a one two! Kokucka had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Nice straight punches there by Balada. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Balada. Balada comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Balada is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Balada jabs at Kokucka's body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kokucka fails with the takedown. Balada lands with a hook. Kokucka tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Balada connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kokucka momentarily.
Kokucka takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Balada tries to close the distance and clinch but Kokucka swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Balada scores with a nice head shot. Balada cracks Kokucka with an open hand slap. Balada connects with a body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Balada's corner calls for a 1-2. Balada obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Balada closes the distance and lands a one-two. Balada throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Kokucka colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Balada as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Kokucka is left battered and dazed whilst Balada and his camp cheer!

Huttunen throws the left hand but d avoids the punch easily. Huttunen misses with a wild body shot. Huttunen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but d was well out of range. Poor timing from Huttunen. Leo Huttunen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. d shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Huttunen as he jumps to the side. d walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Huttunen misses with a wild body shot. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Gracie is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Gracie is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Faded has managed to free his arm - good work. Ground and pound from Gracie. Gracie is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Faded doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gracie. Faded has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gracie is working away from the top position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Faded gets full guard. Gracie throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Gracie wants to pass the guard but Faded is keeping the position. Faded wants to sweep but no luck.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie throwing strikes from guard but Faded blocks nicely. Faded manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gracie manages to get himself to full guard.
Faded controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Faded trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom. Faded is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Gracie is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Gracie has his foot on Faded's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Faded works his way back into a safe position though. Faded stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gracie wants to sweep here but Faded controlling him for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Faded has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Gracie is proving hard to escape from. Gracie working for a triangle but Faded defends it easily.
Gracie has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Gracie looks gassed! Faded stands up over Gracie, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Faded seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Faded scoring with some ground and pound. Gracie looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Faded shoots in for a double leg but Gracie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. The fighters circling - Faded throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Faded fails with the takedown enabling Gracie to counter with a crisp jab. Faded takes one to the chin there. Gracie drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Faded looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Gracie throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Gracie is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Faded is retaining full guard. Gracie scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Faded looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gracie is one step ahead there. Faded seems keen to control Gracie's posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie won't allow Faded to sweep him here.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Faded shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gracie defends it nicely. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Faded Faded. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gracie has Faded up against the cage in a clinch.
Gracie lands a nice uppercut. Gracie is trying to trip Faded. He has hold of a leg but Faded is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Gracie persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Gracie missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Gracie pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Faded is keeping the position for now. Faded had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gracie defends it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gracie scores with the left hand. Faded knows he should have avoided that one. Gracie checks a low kick from Faded. No luck for Gracie with that takedown attempt. Faded shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Gracie counters with a single leg into guard. Faded didn't expect that. Gracie postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Faded is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gracie, into his guard. Gracie keeping moving, preventing Faded from controlling successfully. Faded has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Faded can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
