2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Rhino! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Chad Campbell and Jorge Garcia.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madison shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Madison was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! A nice elbow there by Madison.
Madison looking for a guillotine from mount but Rhino is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rhino gets back to half guard. Rhino avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Madison.
Madison is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rhino sees it coming and defends easily. Rhino is looking to escape.
Rhino is defending against the submission attempts here by Madison.

 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Madison gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Rhino to score an easy takedown into full guard. Madison controls Rhino momentarily but Rhino frees himself.

and Rhino counters with a nice double leg into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Madison keeping moving, preventing Rhino from controlling successfully. Rhino trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Rhino must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Madison seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Rhino not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Madison has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Madison keeping moving, preventing Rhino from controlling successfully. Rhino distracts Madison with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Madison pulls Rhino in close to prevent any damage. Madison is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Ryan Rhino showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Madison darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Rhino is looking for a sweep. Madison is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Rhino has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Madison is working away from the top position though. Rhino is trying to get back to full guard. Madison trying to control from Rhino's half guard. Rhino has other ideas though and has regained full guard.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bong stuns Fontana with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Bong fails with a takedown attempt. Bong shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fontana pinned against the cage. Fontana gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Nice takedown defense from Fontana. No joy for Bong on that attempt. Jack Fontana has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Glass Bong. Fontana throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bong shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fontana pinned against the cage. Fontana gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Fontana misses with a body punch
and Bong counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Fontana! Fontana wants to get back to his feet.

Bong is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Fontana has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Fontana! Fontana lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Bong wants to stand but Fontana is controlling the position. Fontana tries to free his leg and advance position but Bong is retaining full guard. Fontana wants to control from the top but Bong keeps moving. Fontana makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Bong wants to stand and escape but Fontana is having none of it. Bong has his hands on Fontana's head, controlling the position.
Bong throws his legs up looking for a submission but Fontana uses it to pass to side control.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bong is trying to buck Fontana off. Fontana wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bong keeps working. Fontana working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Fontana stands up and we're back to a striking position. Jab, jab by Fontana - just one landing. Bong misses with a hook to the body
and Fontana counters with a single leg into guard. Bong didn't expect that. Bong is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Fontana is controlling him.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Bong not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Fontana has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Fontana fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bong manages to avoid it. Bong misses with a takedown and Fontana makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Fontana misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bong fails with the takedown and Bong takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Fontana lands a jab to Bong's midsection.
Bong scores with a takedown into Fontana's guard. Bong looks gassed! Fontana is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Fontana pushes Bong off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Fontana throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bong stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Bong misses with a takedown attempt
and Fontana counters with a single leg into guard. Bong didn't expect that. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bong has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fontana can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Fontana passes Bong's left leg - he's now in half guard.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Bong gets full guard. Fontana postures up and lands a big shot to Bong's brow. Fontana prevents Bong from getting back to his feet. Fontana is standing up over Bong. Bong looks to escape but Fontana dives into side control.
Fontana wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bong keeps working. Fontana sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Bong is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Fontana is looking to take a break and control but Bong is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Fontana throwing strikes but Bong manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Bong advances nicely into full mount. Bong fails to move to back control. Fontana is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Bong is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Fontana has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Bong has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Fontana taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Bong doesn't care though - he's delighted!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Curls. Tuten does a little dance to reset his feet. Curls is looking to clinch but Tuten is avoiding it.
Curls shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tuten but Tuten pushes him off and we're back to square one. Curls fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Curls throws a body kick that misses.
Curls bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Curls wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tuten keeps working. Tuten wants to get back to his feet but Curls drags him back down. Curls trying to control the action but Tuten is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tuten is letting Curls control him for a moment.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Curls tries to advance to mount but can't. Curls trying to control the action but Tuten is working from the bottom. Tuten is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Curls off and has taken his back! Curls wants to escape the position.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Curls prevents Tuten from getting a body triangle. Curls trying to control the hands but Tuten won't let him. Tuten wants to control but Curls is keeping busy.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Curls is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. Tuten tries to get the hooks in deep but Curls pushed the leg off. Tuten really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Curls. Tuten's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
 The referee stands the fighters back up. Terry Tuten just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Curls fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Curls gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Curls takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A slapping leg kick lands for Tuten.

Curls falls off balance throwing a combination
and Tuten counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Jheri Curls seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Curls looks gassed! Curls misses with a takedown attempt and Tuten counters with a lovely shot to the body. Terry Tuten has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jheri Curls. Tuten lands with a right hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tuten scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
 Curls is rocked! Curls loses concentration momentarily and Tuten pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Curls crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Tuten finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

Jaeger misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

 It looks like Jim Taker has been cut. Taker throws a lazy head kick and Jaeger counters with a nice body shot. Jaeger thumps Taker with a low kick. Jaeger avoids a kick to the body.

Jaeger darts in and clinches Taker up against the cage. Taker swings wildly with an uppercut but Jaeger uses good head movement to avoid it.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Taker wants to get back to striking at distance but Jaeger won't allow it.

Taker lands a nice short elbow. Taker passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Jaeger! Jaeger wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Taker.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Niswender slaps away a takedown attempt from Duke, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Duke closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Duke throws a strike aimed at the side of Niswender's head but Niswender avoids it well. Duke trying to control the position but Niswender is working away.
Duke tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Niswender is trying to improve his position.

That was a close round but I would say that Randolph Duke will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Niswender keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

He's got his arms around Niswender's waist but Niswender gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Duke off to one side. Niswender throws a looping overhand right but Duke ducks down to avoid it. Niswender throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Niswender swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Duke bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Niswender thows a body shot but no joy. Orin Niswender has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Duke doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. The fighters circling - Niswender throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

 It looks like cheyenne ruffy has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! King lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. King throws an overhand right that has ruffy reeling! King follows up with more punches and ruffy is out cold! This one is all over!

Siuta circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Beer to the canvas! Beer doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Siuta keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

R throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Craven escapes and throws R's legs to the side, diving into side control! R regains half guard. Craven trying to pass the guard but R defending well. R manages to get to full guard.

Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt. R wants to get back to full guard but Craven has mounted him! R is wriggling around trying to escape.

Craven takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Craven prevents R from getting the reversal. R wants to hold on but Craven pushes him away. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! R is trying to escape the mount.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Gage R. I think R has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tamad on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tamad is defended easily by Johnson. Johnson scores with a sloppy right hand. Tamad should have avoided that one. Johnson misses with the combination.

Johnson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Johnson lands a nice looking kick to the body. Tamad takes a step back to recover. Kyle Johnson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Tamad is breathing heavily. Tamad takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown by Tamad or perhaps it was just good defense by Johnson which made him look bad. Tamad shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. A jab from Johnson finds it's way through Tamad's defenses. Tamad fails with a takedown attempt. Johnson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tamad doesn't seem bothered though. Johnson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jab, jab by Johnson - just one landing. Johnson throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Tamad shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Johnson but Johnson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Tamad takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tamad shoots in but no luck this time.
