The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Kersikov stuffs the takedown attempt from Wasselach. Wasselach gets slowly back to his feet. Kersikov shoots in looking for a takedown but Wasselach manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kersikov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Karelin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sparbot is fending him off so far but Karelin persists. Nope, Sparbot circles away and we're back to standing. Karelin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sparbot's waist but Sparbot gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Karelin off to one side. Karelin fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
