Aerymar Dracarys had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. Banger has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Read is proving hard to escape from.
Read has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Banger wants to stand and escape but instead Read has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Read pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Banger is keeping the position for now.

Read drops back looking for a leg! Banger is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Banger manages to kick Read off! Read jumps back into Banger's guard.

Read is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Read stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Banger swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Banger is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Read works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Read has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Banger defend it? Read steps over the head and cranks it - Banger is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Read!
