The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cucuy jabs at Nazzal's body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cucuy. Nazzal does a little dance to reset his feet.

Cucuy wants to stand but Nazzal is controlling his arm.

Cucuy should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Nazzal tries to roll over but Cucuy keeps him under control.

Cucuy is trying to control the action in half guard but Nazzal is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Reels closes the distance and pushes Pushkin back into the cage.
Pushkin working aggressively here.

Pushkin has Reels pressed against the cage, preventing Reels from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Pushkin effectively controlling the action here.
Pushkin goes for a takedown attempt but Reels pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Reels closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Pushkin did well to prevent Reels getting side control.

Pushkin manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Reels keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Pushkin is trying to pull guard but Reels has him pressed against the cage.
Pushkin wants a takedown.

Pushkin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Reels walks away with a smile on his face. Pushkin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Reels is looking to take a break and control but Pushkin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ground and pound from Reels seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Mingus looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mingus tries to clinch but Megaladon is having none of it.
A combination from Mingus does no damage.
Megaladon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Megaladon seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Yoni Megaladon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chad Mingus.

Mingus gets tackled into the cage by Megaladon. Megaladon maintains the clinch.

Megaladon is pulling down on Mingus's head. It's preventing any offense from Mingus, at least for the moment.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Mingus accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Megaladon seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Mingus shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Megaladon sprawls well. Megaladon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mingus gets slowly back to his feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Mingus dives in for a single leg takedown but Megaladon sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Megaladon jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Chebio goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kuntzer has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Chebio but great work by Kuntzer.

Chebio is trying to control Kuntzer's posture but Kuntzer avoids it.
