Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Iso Danny (ranked 6388 p4p, 4895 weight class) and Cody Wyldin (ranked 582 p4p, 530 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Cody Wyldin was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Iso Danny! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Cody Wyldin! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Dirk Anderson and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wyldin drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Danny tries to bench press Wyldin off him but Wyldin keeps the position. Wyldin is looking to take a break and control but Danny is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Wyldin working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wyldin scoring with punches from side control. Wyldin connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Danny some visible discomfort.
Wyldin scores with a couple of short elbows. Wyldin working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Wyldin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Danny is pushing Wyldin's head away, looking to escape. Wyldin manages to hold on to the position though. Wyldin lands a few punches from side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wyldin lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Danny sneaks back into half guard. Danny tries to kick Wyldin off but Wyldin keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Danny knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wyldin on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wyldin takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Wyldin is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Wyldin lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Wyldin lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Wyldin is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Danny is hurt! He's hurt bad - Wyldin fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Danny from any more punishment! Congratulations to Wyldin! Great finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vogel keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
It looks like Tokoni Soaki has been cut. Soaki wants to clinch up but Vogel keeps it at a distance. Vogel looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Soaki on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Soaki slips under a jab from Vogel. Soaki doesn't manage to clinch there - Vogel circles away.
Vogel lands a right hook to the body.
A swing and a miss from Vogel. Soaki wants to clinch up but Vogel keeps it at a distance. Soaki moves out of range as Vogel strikes. Soaki darts in looking for a takedown but Vogel gets double underhooks and turns Soaki into the cage. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Vogel wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vogel wants to break the clinch but can't.
Soaki prevents Vogel from breaking the clinch. Vogel has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Vogel tries to break free but Soaki pushes him back against the cage. Vogel looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Soaki gets a trip takedown into half guard. Vogel is looking to get back to is feet but Soaki passes into side control.
Soaki is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Vogel knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Vogel tries to control but Soaki manages to take his back. Soaki is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Vogel taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Soaki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vegas shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Onil counters with a nice body shot. Vegas doesn't succeed with the takedown and Onil counters with a left hand that sends Vegas to the canvas! It looks like Las Vegas has been cut. Vegas is pulling down on Onil's head to control his posture. Vegas looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Onil gets to his feet and stands over Vegas, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Vegas felt that one! Onil unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Vegas from any more punishment!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Stomp is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Simonsgaurd pulls his head out easily. Simonsgaurd tries to pass to full mount but Stomp defends it. Simonsgaurd decides to stand and escape the position. Simonsgaurd gets caught napping as Stomp dives in and scores a takedown. Simonsgaurd manages to retain guard. Stomp definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Simonsgaurd wants to sweep here but Stomp controlling him for the moment. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stomp wants to control from the top but Simonsgaurd keeps moving. Simonsgaurd is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dean Stomp will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Simonsgaurd fails with the takedown and Stomp counters with a nice double leg into guard. Stomp in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Stomp tries to free his leg and advance position but Simonsgaurd is retaining full guard. Simonsgaurd wants to sweep but no luck. Simonsgaurd tries to strike from the bottom.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robinson connects with a jab. It looks like Orvar Odd Lodinkinni has been cut. Robinson's corner calls for a 1-2. Robinson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Robinson slips a jab from Lodinkinni. Robinson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Robinson throws a lazy uppercut
and Lodinkinni counters with a nice uppercut. Robinson throws a lazy right hand but Lodinkinni sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Lodinkinni looks like he wants to counter punch here. The fighters circling - Robinson throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Robinson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Lodinkinni counter with a right hand. Lodinkinni rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Robinson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Robinson swings widly with a right hand
and Lodinkinni counters with a nice right hand that sends Robinson toppling to the canvas! Robinson scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Lodinkinni finish him?! Robinson is rocked! It looks like Lenny Robinson has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lodinkinni throws a lazy uppercut
and Robinson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Lodinkinni thinking. Robinson lands a left and a right that send Lodinkinni crashing to the mat, dazed. Robinson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Robinson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lodinkinni cracks Robinson on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Robinson falls backwards against the cage. Lodinkinni follows up with more strikes that drop Robinson to his knees. Lodinkinni keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Robinson! This one is all over!
