Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mer Lo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Owen Foster! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Foster fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Foster feints and as Lo raises his hands in defense, Foster changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Lo wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Foster manages to pass to side control. Foster works his foot free and advances to mount. Lo really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Lo is trying to get back to his feet but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Foster lands a heavy elbow. Lo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Foster on the ground. Lo is trying to escape the mount.

Foster breaks from Lo's wrist control and lands an elbow. Foster tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. A nice elbow there by Foster. and Scato counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Mason manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Scato keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Mason's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Scato shoots and misses and Mason counters with a stiff right hand. This has been an exciting period of action! A shot to the liver by Mason. Beautiful body shot. Scato shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mason is trying to defend but Scato finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Scato is trying to work for a kimura but Mason is defending well.
