Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bruno Berinjela! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lyndon Knowles! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Berinjela throws a push kick but Knowles slaps the foot to one side. It seemed like Knowles was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Nice defenses there by Knowles. Berinjela throws a right and a left that both miss. Knowles lands with a nice body punch. Berinjela lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Knowles circles away quickly and effectively. Berinjela throws a sloppy body shot
and Knowles counters with a lovely straight right hand! Berinjela scores with a sloppy right hand. Knowles should have avoided that one. Berinjela swings widly with a right hand
and Knowles connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Berinjela loads up on a big right hand but Knowles slips the punch. A nice side step and Knowles releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Knowles throws out a loose jab but Berinjela uses good head movement to avoid it. Berinjela fails to land with a series of punches.
