The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nguyen throws a series of punches but Deetoo moves out of range.

Nguyen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Deetoo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Nguyen defends it easily.

Moore bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Barov's head backwards.

Barov drops his hands momentarily and Moore takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Moore's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Moore's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Barov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Barov fails to land the takedown.
Moore fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Barov tries to score with a low kick but Moore moves his leg out of the way.

Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Tessin screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

It looks like Traicho Traev has been cut.

Kovacevic closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Traev! Kovacevic dives in looking to finish! Traev is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
