With a record of 1 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Noah Stevenson! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nakaya tries for a takedown but Stevenson circles away easily and Nakaya takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Stevenson with a body punch. A glancing blow. Nakaya tries to score a power double leg takedown but Stevenson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nakaya somewhat. Nakaya misses with a takedown and Stevenson counters with a straight right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tetsuo Nakaya. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nakaya misses with a takedown and Stevenson counters with a straight right hand. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nakaya shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stevenson pinned against the cage. Stevenson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Stevenson looks like he wants to counter punch here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stevenson lands a left and a right that send Nakaya crashing to the mat, dazed. Stevenson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Stevenson dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Nakaya goes for a double leg but Stevenson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Stevenson continues to drive forward. Stevenson is defending well against a takedown attempt. Nakaya is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Stevenson working hard to break the clinch. Stevenson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Almeida lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. It looks like Szymon Bartkiewicz has been cut. Bartkiewicz fails with a takedown attempt. Almeida lands with a shot to the body. Almeida drops Bartkiewicz with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Bartkiewicz looks back up at him and smiles so Almeida waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Bartkiewicz is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Almeida connects with a stiff jab that staggers Bartkiewicz - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! That kick from Lukov tenderised Magamedov's leg. Magamedov is trying to keep his angry face on. Magamedov looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Lukov scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. A nice inside leg kick there by Lukov. That's going to slow Magamedov down. Lukov gets caught napping as Magamedov dives in and scores a takedown. Lukov manages to retain guard. Lukov throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Magamedov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Lukov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Magamedov is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Lukov has his feet on Magamedov's thighs here. He's pushed Magamedov off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Magamedov screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

and Vicenzo counters with a series of strikes. Helwani will be more careful next time no doubt. Vicenzo gets a clinch. A nice right hand lands inside from Vicenzo. Helwani wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Vicenzo has him pressed against the cage. Vicenzo breaks from the clinch.
Vicenzo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Helwani circles away quickly and effectively. Helwani looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Vicenzo changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Helwani darts in looking for a takedown but Vicenzo gets double underhooks and turns Helwani into the cage. Vicenzo lands with a nice combination. Helwani backs away looking to recover. Helwani is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Vicenzo plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Helwani swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Helwani face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gelashvili fails to land the takedown. Gelashvili shoots in but Bong avoids the takedown attempt easily. Bong moves into range and clinches up with Gelashvili. Gelashvili is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bong pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Giorgi Gelashvili. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bong gets through Gelashvili's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Gelashvili is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Gelashvili is looking to take this one to the mat. Bong has hold of one of Gelashvili's legs. Gelashvili is fighting the takedown attempt but Bong gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Gelashvili is controlling Bong's posture. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gelashvili bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bong's guard.
Bong has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Gelashvili is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Bong. Gelashvili controlling the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bong is trying to get back to half guard. Bong is working to avoid the ground and pound but Gelashvili connects with a decent elbow. Gelashvili has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Bong tries to improve position but can't. A lull in the action here as Gelashvili stalls from top position. Gelashvili seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Bong for as long as he can get away with.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Gelashvili continues to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bong wants to get back to his feet but Gelashvili is dominant here and he's now got Bong's back! Gelashvili is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Bong tries to roll but Gelashvili sticks to his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gelashvili just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Gelashvili slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Bong closes the distance and pushes Gelashvili back into the cage. Bong jumps guard.
Bong wants to sweep but no luck. Gelashvili is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gelashvili advances to half guard. Gelashvili controlling the action here. Gelashvili moves into full mount! Bong won't be happy about that! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bong can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Gelashvili takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Gelashvili lands a heavy elbow. Gelashvili controlling the position easily from mount. More hug and hope from Gelashvili.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bong is desperately trying to improve his position but Gelashvili has a good base and remains in mount. Gelashvili content just to control the position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gelashvili's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Gelashvili is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bong can do to turn this around? Giorgi Gelashvili overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Bong tries to get back to half guard but can't. Aloevera swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Batt. Batt tries to clinch but Aloevera moves out of range. Aloevera instigates a clinch. Aloevera's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Batt rushes Aloevera and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Batt wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Batt pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Aloevera throws a nice outside leg kick. Aloevera drops Batt with a beautiful combination! Batt stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Aloevera is looking for the KO! Batt is rocked! It looks like Dylan Batt has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Aloevera clinches up against the cage. Batt is still on wobbly legs! Can Aloevera finish him? Aloevera breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Batt seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aloevera circles away from the clinch attempt.
Batt with a poor takedown and Aloevera counters by clinching up. Batt tries to pull guard but Aloevera forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Arles Aloevera has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dylan Batt. Aloevera escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Aloevera throws a right and a left that Batt avoids nicely. Aloevera lands a nice looking body shot.
Batt looks winded! Good work by Batt as he checks the leg kick. Arles Aloevera is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Aloevera misses with a two punch combination.
Aloevera displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Batt. Dylan Batt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Aloevera lands with a thumping leg kick.

This has been an exciting period of action! Oooooh!!! Aloevera has knocked Batt down with a huge combo! Aloevera steps away and waves a wobbly Batt back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Batt throws a head kick but Aloevera moves out of range.
Aloevera throws a big counter combination but Batt scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Aloevera lands a hook that stumbles Batt back into the cage. Aloevera follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Batt to the canvas! Aloevera pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Batt has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

Arles Aloevera tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool. In defeat, Dylan Batt stepped up to the mic, saying 'Obviously not too happy about the loss but this is one road block in, what will be a legendary career.'.

Dakarai Alaba has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Friolaugur Sturlaugsson. Alaba is defending well against a takedown attempt. Sturlaugsson's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Sturlaugsson is looking for a takedown. Alaba definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. We're back to striking at a distance. Alaba closes the distance and pushes Sturlaugsson back into the cage. Sturlaugsson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Alaba pulls his leg out and moves away.
Alaba rushes Sturlaugsson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Sturlaugsson has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Alaba is trying to keep an underhook but Sturlaugsson manages to get the takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Alaba looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Alaba flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sturlaugsson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Alaba does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Sturlaugsson uses his free foot to push down on Alaba's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Alaba. Sturlaugsson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Alaba is looking to escape. Alaba has given up his back here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sturlaugsson struggling to keep hold of the position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robertson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Bacia misses with a series of wild punches.
Robertson throws a right hand that Bacia ducks under and follows up with a left that Bacia also avoids with ease. Bacia fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Robertson manages to avoid it. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Robertson. Robertson misses with a few strikes there.
Robertson walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Bacia checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Bradley Robertson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Robertson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bacia's guard. Bacia looking for a sweep. Not yet Bacia, not yet. Bacia is looking to stand up but Robertson isn't so interested in that idea. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Robertson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Robertson is pushing down on Bacia's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bacia is fighting to maintain full guard but Robertson has managed to sneak the leg through. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Robertson looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Robertson wants to take a breather but Bacia is having none of it. Bacia tries to roll over but Robertson keeps him under control. Bacia is in trouble now - Robertson has advanced to mount! Bacia knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Robertson on the ground. Robertson working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Bacia looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Robertson! Leighton takes an elbow to the temple. Gregory Leighton's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
