The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Saix fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Torres sprawls well initially but Saix persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Saix looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Torres makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Torres.
Torres manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Saix manages to get himself to full guard.
Torres trying to control the position from guard on top but Saix is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Torres forces his way into half guard.
Torres passes the guard and advances to mount!

Torres gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Saix really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Torres. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Saix is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Torres asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Torres is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Saix is trying to escape and Torres transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Saix is forced to tap! Nice work there by Torres! Very nice indeed!
