The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Griffen tries a head kick but it misses.

You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Gschwend is trying to work for a kimura but Griffen is defending well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brookins shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ives sprawls well. Ives wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Brookins gets slowly back to his feet. Brookins shoots for a double leg takedown but Ives sprawls well. He's pushed Brookins's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Brookins tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Ives lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Brookins circles away quickly and effectively. Johnny Ives seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fighters circling - Ives throws out the jab but it was never going to land. No luck with that takedown attempt from Brookins. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Brookins. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ives manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Ives misses with a wild body shot. Brookins is looking to clinch. Brookins is breathing heavily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ives rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brookins moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Brookins uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ives. Ives tests Brookins's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Ives follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Brookins to the canvas! Ives pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Brookins has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcdonald shoots for a takedown but Hoxha saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Mcdonald looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Mcdonald missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Mcdonald thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hoxha's head. Hoxha tries to roll over but Mcdonald keeps him under control. Hoxha trying to control but Mcdonald postures up.
Mcdonald slips a nice elbow through Hoxha's hands, connecting with Hoxha's forehead. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hoxha can do anything to dispel that myth. Mcdonald wants to pass to mount but Hoxha is defending the position. Hoxha is not content to let Mcdonald control the position. Hoxha really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mcdonald. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mcdonald closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mcdonald lands in his opponent's guard. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Mcdonald dives in and grabs Hoxha's left leg, looking for a takedown. Negrao jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Maxwell manages to avoid the submission attempt. Negrao has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Negrao tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Maxwell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Asmodeus Breed! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Breed swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Dias. Breed takes one to the chin there. Dias closes the distance and lands a one-two. Breed keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Breed throws a nice looking combination but Dias bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Dias takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Breed bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Dias slips under a jab from Breed. Breed throws the left hand but Dias avoids the punch easily. Nice jab there from Dias. Breed misses with a hook. Dias ducked under it nicely. Dias works over Breed's head and body with a nice combination. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Breed fails to land with a series of punches.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dias works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Breed lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Breed throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Breed looks to land a left hand but Dias moved out of range nicely. A looping hook to the body misses from Breed. Dias does a little dance to reset his feet. Dias cracks Breed with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Breed jabbing away but nothing is landing. Dias takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Breed looks to land a left hand but Dias moved out of range nicely. A swing and a miss from Dias. Breed looks to score with a jab to the body but Dias is just out of range. Breed lands a right hook to the body.
Breed throws a jab but it's blocked by Dias.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Breed throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Dias dips to his left and cracks Breed with an uppercut! Breed scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Breed throws a good cross that connects.
Dias ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Breed loads up on a big right hand but Dias slips the punch. Breed misses with a straight right. Breed misses with a shot to the body and Dias cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Nice jab there from Dias.
Breed is rocked! Dias lands with a big right hook that stumbles Breed - he's out on his feet here! Dias follows up with another monster hook that separates Breed from consciousness! Breed falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Dias stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Awesome misses with a series of wild punches.
Awesome throws a right hand that Tatum ducks under and follows up with a left that Tatum also avoids with ease. Tatum shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Awesome but Awesome pushes him off and we're back to square one. Tatum circles away from the clinch attempt.
Tatum takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Awesome misses with a low kick. Awesome is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Tatum gets a clinch. Awesome tries to circle away but Tatum has him pinned against the cage. Awesome wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Awesome lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Awesome breaks the clinch.

Mike Awesome seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Awesome keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tatum circles away from the clinch attempt and Tatum counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Tatum missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tatum is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Awesome sees it coming and defends easily. Tatum is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Awesome doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tatum. Tatum seems to be looking for submissions.
Awesome looks like he's trying to stand up.
Tatum is looking for a kimura but Awesome is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tatum to get the leverage. Awesome wants to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Awesome pushes Tatum off looking to stand but Tatum dives back in and keeps control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Awesome misses with a two punch combination.
Mike Awesome is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Awesome missing with a left hand there. Tatum was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Awesome misses with the combination.
Tatum shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Awesome is trying to defend but Tatum finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Tatum wants to pass the guard but Awesome is defending well. Tatum working the head and body with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tatum accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Tatum has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Awesome keeping full guard, as Tatum tries to pass. Tatum thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Tatum throwing strikes but missing. Tatum pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Awesome is keeping the position for now.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Awesome throws a right and a left that Tatum avoids nicely. Awesome throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tatum.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Awesome darts in trying to clinch and Tatum counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Awesome! Awesome avoids a series of strikes thrown by Tatum.
Tatum throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Awesome is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Tatum has hold of Awesome's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Awesome manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Tatum pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Awesome tries to buck Tatum off so he can stand up but Tatum has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! Awesome falls backwards, slamming Tatum to the mat but Tatum holds on tight! Awesome is forced to tap and this one is all over!
