Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Granger scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Levesque gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Levesque moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Granger not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Granger stopping the sweep attempt from Levesque.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Granger is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Levesque looking for a sweep. Not yet Levesque, not yet.

Levesque is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Granger defends well.

Levesque throws his legs up looking for a submission but Granger uses it to pass to side control.

The referee asks Granger politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Granger prefers to stall for the moment though.
Levesque gets back to half guard.
Levesque is looking for a sweep. Granger is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Levesque has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Granger is working away from the top position though.

Levesque has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Granger. Oh but Levesque has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Granger goes limp - he's gone! Levesque jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
