Island Chief had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 207.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. This should be a great matchup!

Bruce cracks Soaki with a right hand to the side of the head.
It looks like Tokoni Soaki has been cut.
Bruce slips a jab from Soaki.
Soaki is looking to clinch.
Soaki tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bruce defends well and Soaki ends up having to push Bruce into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Soaki throws the left hand but Bruce avoids the punch easily.

Soaki shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bruce napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Bruce parries the strikes from Soaki easily there. Soaki is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bruce to escape.
You can see the frustration on Bruce's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Soaki has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Soaki is working to tighten his grip on Bruce's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Bruce has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Soaki is really squeezing tight and eventually Bruce passes out! Soaki breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
