The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dwyer tries to close the distance and clinch up but Andersson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Dwyer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Excellent takedown into side control there by Dwyer. Dwyer wants to stand but Andersson is controlling his arm. Andersson is not content to let Dwyer control the position. Andersson manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Dwyer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Dwyer tries to kick Andersson off but Andersson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Andersson not doing much here.

No luck for vader with that takedown attempt. vader tries to close the distance and clinch but Squanch swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Squanch lands a big uppercut and vader crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but vader looks OK. Squanch waves vader back to his feet!
vader is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! vader shoots in looking for a takedown. Squanch tries to sprawl out of it but vader keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Squanch manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Squanch drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks vader right on the button. vader goes down! Squanch follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Squanch gets the win via TKO!

Price keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Overeem's head. Price loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Overeem keeping moving, preventing Price from controlling successfully. Price postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Alistair Overeem has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Overeem is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good shot there by Ross. Richardson moves out of range of the strikes. The crowd cheers as Richardson lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ross doesn't seem phased though. Richardson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Ross fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Richardson manages to avoid it. Richardson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Richardson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ross defending well as Richardson loads up on a big left hand. Ross lands a right hook to the body.
Richardson looks gassed! Ross fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Ross connects with a right hand. Richardson shakes it off. Jab by Ross. Decent striking displayed by Ross there. Ross fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Richardson to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Richardson looks to clinch but Ross throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Richardson taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Thaiday sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Stein defending well though. Thaiday performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Stein is concentrating on defense, preventing Thaiday from advancing position. Thaiday thows a huge punch but Stein dodges it nicely.
Stein is pressing down on Thaiday's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Thaiday wants to control from the top but Stein keeps moving. Stein is adopting a defensive guard. Stein bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Thaiday's guard.

Reeves stalks Carrol and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Carrol's face. Carrol staggers backwards, shaken. Reeves stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The cut above Tonie Carrol's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Reeves fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Carrol walks into a jab. Reeves catches Carrol with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Tonie Carrol's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Reeves cracks Carrol with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Reeves throws a left and a right that both miss

Pounder is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Couture is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Couture attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Couture misses with an uppercut. Couture ducks under a wild hook from Pounder. Pounder swats away the attempt to clinch by Couture. Couture swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Couture tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pounder swats him away and circles back towards the center. Pounder keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Couture. and Pounder counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Couture fails with an attempt to clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pounder loads up on a big right hand but Couture slips the punch. The fight stays on the outside here - Couture looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
And that's the end of the fight! the natural Couture comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Couture has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
