Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andre Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dylan Spencer told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andre Clark! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dylan Spencer! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Clark takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
The fighters circling - Spencer throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Spencer tries to bum rush Clark with a series of wild strikes but Clark uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Clark changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Spencer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Clark tries to advance to mount but Spencer denies him. The strikes coming from Clark are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Spencer tries to buck Clark off but Clark is having none of it. Clark wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Spencer, who protects the arm well. Clark tries for a kimura but Spencer is defending well. Spencer is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Clark off and has taken his back! Spencer looking for the RNC. Clark breaks Spencer's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Clark knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Spencer on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clark is working Spencer over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Clark trying to control the position from guard on top but Spencer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Clark pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Spencer is keeping the position for now. Spencer had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Clark defends it easily. Spencer looks gassed! Clark wants to control from the top but Spencer keeps moving. Spencer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Clark doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Clark manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Spencer is trying to control the position but Clark postures up. Clark landing with the ground and pound. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Spencer is on top in guard.

Clark wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Clark is trying to keep Spencer in close.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Clark looking for a sweep. Not yet Clark, not yet. Spencer trying to move into half guard but instead Clark has managed to sweep! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Clark accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Clark throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Spencer works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Clark stops Spencer from standing up. Clark trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Clark misses with a few strikes there.
Spencer slips a jab from Clark. Clark takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A combination from Clark does no damage. A slapping leg kick lands for Spencer.

Spencer shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Clark throws a series of punches but Spencer moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Clark darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Clark landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Spencer tries to get to full guard but Clark has control of the leg. Clark throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Spencer looking for submissions off his back. Clark is nestled in close to Spencer, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Clark thows a huge punch but Spencer dodges it nicely.
Clark looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Clark scores with a couple of good hammerfists. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Andre Clark will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Some wild striking there from Clark.
Andre Clark is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Spencer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Spencer tries a head kick but it misses.
Spencer cracks the inside of Clark's front leg. Clark moves in looking to clinch but Spencer pushes him off. Spencer ducks under a wild hook from Clark. Spencer slips a jab and a cross from Clark.

Spencer lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Spencer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A nice inside leg kick there by Spencer. That's going to slow Clark down. Clark fails to land with a series of punches.
Spencer is breathing heavily. Clark misses with a looping right. Spencer ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Clark swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spencer connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Clark momentarily.
Clark closes the distance but Spencer moves to the side and Spencer counters with a thumping low kick. A head kick from Spencer lands but Clark takes it in his stride. Spencer lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Clark. Spencer moves away from the strike by Clark. Spencer lets loose with a powerful body kick. Clark will feel that in the morning. Spencer buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Spencer lands with a straight right. Clark didn't see that one coming. Spencer lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Spencer lands a jab to the nose. Clark swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Spencer counters with a stiff right hand. Left hook, right uppercut from Spencer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Clark pushes Spencer up against the cage in a clinch. Spencer taking a breather. Spencer blocking some punches.
Clark is looking to break free of the clinch but Spencer has double underhooks. Spencer blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Clark misses with a hook from the clinch. Clark goes for a takedown attempt but Spencer pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Clark takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Spencer misses with a looping right. Clark instigates a clinch. Clark misses with some punches.
Spencer tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Clark just stands there and leans against the cage. Spencer gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Clark.

Spencer displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Clark throws out the jab. Spencer scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Clark takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Clark fails with the takedown. Spencer lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Clark tries to clinch but Spencer moves out of range. Clark drives through with a takedown into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Spencer is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Spencer decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Clark tries to clinch but Spencer moves out of range. Spencer throws a quick inside leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dylan Spencer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Clark checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Clark shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Clark scoring with some ground and pound. Spencer is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Clark pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Spencer is keeping the position for now. Clark trying to control but Spencer is working from the bottom. Clark is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Spencer looking for a guillotine here but Clark defends easily.

There ya go! Clark loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Clark lands a couple of digs. Clark is in close to Spencer's body, working some short punches and elbows. Clark cracks Spencer with a solid left hand. Clark trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Spencer is looking for a triangle but Clark pushes his legs off easily.
Clark is working Spencer over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Clark has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Clark landing some decent shots from guard. Spencer looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Spencer lands with a kick to the temple. Clark shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Clark tries to clinch up. Clark shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Spencer as he avoids it easily.

Clark tries to close the distance and clinch up but Spencer swats him away and circles back towards the center. Clark takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
And that's the end of the fight! Dylan Spencer comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Spencer has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Nope, Burton circles away and we're back to standing. Moonstick does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Moonstick lands a head kick. Burton smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Moonstick dives in and grabs Burton's left leg, looking for a takedown. Burton pushes down on Moonstick's head and hops out. Burton works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Burton misses with a series of wild punches.
Moonstick looks to score with a jab to the body but Burton is just out of range. Moonstick throws a leg kick but Burton sees it coming and moves out of range. Burton moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Moonstick throws a good cross that connects.
It looks like Shawn Burton has been cut. Moonstick lands a nice shot that snaps Burton's head back.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Burton keeping moving, preventing Moonstick from controlling successfully.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Svensson blocks a head kick by Flynn.

Flynn closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Svensson did well to prevent Flynn getting side control. Flynn not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Flynn tries to pass to full mount but Svensson defends it. Svensson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Flynn. Svensson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Svensson can do anything to dispel that myth. Flynn is trying to work for a kimura but Svensson is defending well.

That's going to take a lot out of him. Flynn is breathing heavily. Svensson tries to clinch up but Flynn circles away and keeps his distance. Svensson clinches up with Flynn and pushes him back against the cage. Svensson is pushing Flynn up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Flynn wants the takedown. Svensson is fighting it off but Flynn persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Svensson's guard against the cage. Flynn postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Svensson uses the cage to get back to his feet.

It will also be interesting to see what tactics Turan uses from the top position. Turan won't allow Williams to sweep him here. Tayfun Turan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kenny Williams is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Williams is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Turan off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Williams works his way back into a safe position though. Williams must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Williams controls from within his opponent's guard. Turan controls Williams momentarily but Williams frees himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Williams's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Williams is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Turan trying to control the position.

Let's hope that Williams has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Kenny Williams. Turan tries to clinch but fails miserably and Williams counters with a three punch combo that has Turan backing up. Turan nods at Williams to acknowledge the strikes. Williams works over Turan's head and body with a nice combination. Turan gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Williams counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Turan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Williams has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Williams and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Williams lunges at Turan with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Turan's hand. Williams darts in and clinches Turan up against the cage. Williams lands a body punch in the clinch. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Williams as Turan tries to tie him up. Williams unloads a knee to the mid-section. Turan lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Kenny Williams. I've got Williams winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vos pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Vos throws a nice inside leg kick. Robben slips under a jab. Vos misses with a looping left. Robben takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Vos pivots, looking for a leg kick but Robben is out of range and Vos settles back down. A telegraphed right hand from Vos misses the target. Vos is looking to slow Robben down with leg kicks. Vos takes a swing at Robben's ribcage but misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Donk. Robben catches Vos right on the button with a cross. Robben throws a hook but Vos blocks it. A low kick from Robben is predictable there and Vos counters with a nice body shot. Vos tests Robben's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Vos jabs Robben right on the nose. Robben blinks but takes it well. Robben uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Vos. Robben moves out of range of the body kick. Vos throws a nice outside leg kick. Robben feints and then cracks Vos's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Vos down. No luck for Vos with that takedown attempt. Robben lunges at Vos with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Vos's hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Robben throws a shot from downtown. Vos moves away and avoids it. Vos catches Robben with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Robben lands with a hook. Vos tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Vos scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Robben attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Vos swinging wildly here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCarthy fails in his attempt to clinch. Cunnigham keeps the fight on the outside. Cunnigham closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. McCarthy tries to roll over but Cunnigham keeps him under control. Cunnigham throws a strike but McCarthy avoids it easily and moves to full guard. McCarthy not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Well The Professional has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
