These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mikey Beckham! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tim Johns! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johns with a nice cross. Beckham misses with a takedown attempt - Johns sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Sloppy strikes from Johns. Those never looked like landing. Johns throws a combination. Beckham tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Johns lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Beckham shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Johns shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Beckham is trying to defend but Johns finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Johns keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Beckham avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Johns. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Johns. Johns lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Johns fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Beckham on the side of the head. Tim Johns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johns stuffs the takedown attempt from Beckham. Beckham gets slowly back to his feet. Johns wants to counter the offense by Beckham and move into the clinch position. Johns lands a nice hook to Beckham's body. Beckham takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Johns takes the fight into the clinch. Mikey Beckham has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tim Johns is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Beckham is trying to drag Johns to the mat but Johns just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
And that's the end of the fight! Tim Johns comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Johns has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Lo throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Lo is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Forde knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lo is looking to take a break and control but Forde is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Joshua Forde dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Forde throws a right and a left that Lo avoids nicely. Forde works over Lo's head and body with a nice combination. Forde misses with a few strikes there.
Forde lands with a nice combination. Lo backs away looking to recover. Forde throws a head kick that misses. Lo throws a body shot but no joy. Forde throws a right hand that Lo ducks under and follows up with a left that Lo also avoids with ease. Forde is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lo can do to turn this around? Forde throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Forde throws a leg kick and Lo counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Forde! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lo connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Forde some visible discomfort.

Lo has hold of Forde's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Forde seems comfortable defending it but Lo has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Forde is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Forde is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Lo couldn't care less - he's delighted!
