The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hasegawa is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Hasegawa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Horn paws at him with a jab and circles away. Horn comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Hasegawa lunges at Horn with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Horn's hand.
It looks like Axl Horn has been cut. Hasegawa misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Horn.
Horn connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Hasegawa throws a jab but it's blocked by Horn. Horn thows a body shot but no joy. Horn sizes up Hasegawa with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Jab by Horn. Horn avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Axl Horn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hasegawa moves into range and clinches up with Horn. Horn is trying to stall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Highes fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lombardi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Lombardi looks gassed! Nice cross by Highes. Highes lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Highes shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lombardi's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Highes working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Highes throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Highes lands a nice forearm strike. Highes is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lombardi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Highes lands an elbow.

Prasoetram creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Jones sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Prasoetram has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jones is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Prasoetram asserts his dominance and retains side control. Prasoetram tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Prasoetram decides to stand back up. Prasoetram steps back and let's Jones get back to his feet. Prasoetram is looking to clinch. Jones looks to throw the jab but Prasoetram is out of range. Prasoetram tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Prasoetram walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Prasoetram shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jones sprawls well. Jones wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Prasoetram gets slowly back to his feet. Jones might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Prasoetram fails with an attempt to clinch.

Jones slaps away a takedown attempt from Prasoetram, before circling back to the center of the mat. Jones loads up on a big right hand but Prasoetram slips the punch. Nice shot lands for Jones.

Prasoetram had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Prasoetram takes a jab right on the kisser.
Jones connects with a body shot. Jones stuffs the takedown attempt from Prasoetram. Prasoetram gets slowly back to his feet. Prasoetram takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A jab from Jones finds it's way through Prasoetram's defenses. Jeez, Tanchanok Prasoetram's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Petrovich takes a swing at Damato's ribcage but misses. The crowd cheers as Damato lands an impressive looking overhand right. Petrovich doesn't seem phased though. Petrovich throws a hook to the side of Damato's head but Damato sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Damato fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Petrovich. Petrovich tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Damato was well out of range. Poor timing from Petrovich. Damato displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Petrovich throws out the jab. Damato fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Damato with a jab.
