Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cass Ave! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Peter Pan! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Chris Dean and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ave closes the distance and clinches. Pan wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ave has him pressed against the cage. Ave pulls Pan into guard.
Ave is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Pan tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Ave manages to move to mount!
Ave has control of Pan's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Pan regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Ave lands a big elbow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pan trying desperately to get to his feet.

Ave works over Pan with some ground and pound from guard.

Pan is looking to break free of the clinch but Ave has double underhooks. Ave is trying to pull guard but Pan has him pressed against the cage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pan is trying to force a seperation but Ave has the dominant position. Pan has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Peter Pan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Cass Ave is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Pan just misses with a elbow thrown towards Ave's brow.
