The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ruiz defends well and Bishop ends up having to push Ruiz into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Ruiz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bishop walks away with a smile on his face. Ruiz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Bishop avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bishop seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Ruiz tries to clinch but Bishop is having none of it.

I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

Kantu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Orlav tries to avoid it but Kantu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Orlav to the ground. Orlav escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kantu looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Orlav wants to counter the offense by Kantu and move into the clinch position.

As Noll tries to get set, Ryker tries to push him back and clinch up but Noll manages to avoid the attempt.
Noll pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Ryker back to the cage. Noll follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
