The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
brimley closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
brimley is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Belagio gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

brimley shoots in for a double leg but Belagio sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Vitor Belagio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of wilford brimley.
Belagio tries to clinch but brimley is having none of it.

brimley sneaks out the side door and pushes Belagio away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
brimley bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Belagio's head backwards.
brimley darts in and clinches Belagio up against the cage.
brimley goes for a takedown in the clinch but Belagio prevents it.
brimley drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
brimley gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Belagio regains guard.

Belagio tries to score a body lock takedown but brimley shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Belagio manages to break the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Belagio or perhaps it was just good defense by brimley which made him look bad.
Belagio lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Belagio connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent brimley tumbling to the canvas! Belagio pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! brimley was done - good stoppage!
