The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Benn.
Benn shoots in looking for a takedown. Empi tries to sprawl out of it but Benn keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Empi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

As Salad backs off T Bone throws a huge counter combo but Salad manages to avoid it all.
Salad tries to score a power double leg takedown but T Bone sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Salad somewhat.

T Bone lands a big right hand that sends Salad crashing to the mat! T Bone stays standing though and waves Salad back to his feet!

Salad tries to close the distance and clinch but T Bone swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Scotty T Bone is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
T Bone scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
T Bone lands an overhand right.
Oh Salad is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Salad throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around T Bone's waist but T Bone gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Salad off to one side.
Salad seems to have got his legs back now.

Oooooh!!! T Bone has knocked Salad down with a huge combo! T Bone steps away and waves a wobbly Salad back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Salad throws out a loose jab but T Bone uses good head movement to avoid it.
And T Bone tries to counter it with a takedown but Salad pushes his down on his head and steps out.
T Bone might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Salad throws a wild hook but T Bone just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Salad gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - T Bone raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scotty T Bone!
In defeat, Tater Salad stepped up to the mic, saying 'You May Have Defeated Tater Salad, But You Will Pay For It In A Few Hours, Mark My Words!!. Check Out Your Fighters Injury!!
