Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tin Ping Lo Chie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jamie Bono!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lo Chie pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bono throws a leg kick but Lo Chie sees it coming and moves out of range.
Lo Chie shoots for a double leg takedown but Bono sprawls well. He's pushed Lo Chie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Lo Chie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bono tries to avoid it but Lo Chie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bono to the ground. Bono escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Bono drives through and clinches with Lo Chie against the cage.
Lo Chie wants to break the clinch but can't.
Bono lands with a right to the head.
Bono utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Bono stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Lo Chie is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Bono to keep the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tin Ping Lo Chie. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lo Chie jumps guard but Bono turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Bono lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Bono escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lo Chie closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Lo Chie is rocked!
OH! Lo Chie has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Bono smells blood and charges in for the finish! Bono unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Lo Chie sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jamie Bono!

Yamazaki lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Yamazaki jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Morimoto shoots in looking for a takedown. Yamazaki tries to sprawl out of it but Morimoto keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Yamazaki manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Morimoto goes for a double leg but Yamazaki avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Yamazaki continues to drive forward.
Morimoto will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kenji Yamazaki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Takashi Morimoto.
Morimoto tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Yamazaki defends well and Morimoto ends up having to push Yamazaki into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Morimoto shoots in for a double leg but Yamazaki sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Morimoto fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Yamazaki to the ground. Morimoto is now in Yamazaki's guard.
Morimoto is looking to work some ground and pound but Yamazaki has wrist control.
Morimoto is standing up over Yamazaki. Yamazaki looks to escape but Morimoto dives into side control.
Morimoto in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Morimoto lands a nice forearm strike.
Morimoto has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Morimoto tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Morimoto is working Yamazaki over with some ground and pound from side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yamazaki is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
The ground and pound from Morimoto seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Yamazaki takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Morimoto lands a strong strike to the head of Yamazaki. That's dazed him! Morimoto looking to finish here. Yamazaki is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Morimoto lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
