With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Marvin Hagler! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garcia moves forwards but Hagler connects with a nice, crisp jab. It looks like Ceferino Garcia has been cut. Garcia throws a jab when Hagler was well out of range. Hagler scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Garcia beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout. Garcia is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Hagler doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Garcia crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Garcia's bad books for that mishap!
