Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yngve Laake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gregory Leighton!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leighton takes a jab right on the kisser.
It looks like Gregory Leighton has been cut.
Laake throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Leighton is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Crunch! Laake slams his shin into Leighton's torso.
Laake uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Leighton has time to react.
Laake feints a jab promting Leighton to slip. Laake then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Leighton slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Laake drops Leighton with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Leighton looks back up at him and smiles so Laake waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Leighton is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Leighton glances at the clock... BAM! Laake nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Leighton crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Leighton is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Yngve Laake!
Yngve Laake very nearly forgot to thank Brooklyn Threads amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
