The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Camacho loads up on a big right hand but Thibodeaux slips the punch. Thibodeaux connects with a solid leg kick. Thibodeaux lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Camacho at a distance.
Macho Camacho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Camacho fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Thibodeaux manages to avoid it. Thibodeaux thinks about the counter body kick. Camacho tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Thibodeaux counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Camacho thinking. Camacho closes the distance and clinches. Nice elbow from Thibodeaux. It looks like Macho Camacho has been cut. Camacho is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Camacho is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes. Camacho misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Thibodeaux.

Burger ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tate moves away. Tate tries to close the distance and clinch but Burger swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Burger half committed to a counter leg kick. Tate clinches up against the ropes. Tate effectively controlling the action here. Burger breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tate scores with a three punch combo!
Burger lands a head kick that bluckles Tate and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Burger no doubt looking to push for a finish! Tate is rocked! Burger misses with an uppercut. Tate wants to clinch and Burger counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Tate is still on wobbly legs! Can Burger finish him? The fight stays on the outside here - Tate looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Tate seems to have recovered his senses. Tate blocks a head kick by Burger.

Burger is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Burger tries to keep at a distance but Tate has taken the fight into the clinch. Tate breaks from the clinch.

Tate throws the left hand but Burger avoids the punch easily.

enabling Burger to counter with a crisp jab. Tate takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Tate has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Burger. Tate closes the distance but Burger moves to the side and Burger makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Tate gets in close and instigates a clinch. Tate has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Burger. Tate using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Burger has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Burger pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Burger uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tate.
Burger swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Burger throws a head kick that misses. Tate wants to clinch.

Tate wants to clinch but Burger slips to the side and Burger counters with a flying knee. Nice. The cut above William Tate's eye is starting to cause him problems now. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tate moves to clinch but Burger breaks away and Burger counters with a straight right hand. Tate takes a kick to the side of the head. A slapping leg kick lands for Burger.

Tate tries to close the distance and clinch but Burger swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Tate fails in his attempt to clinch. William Tate is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Burger scores with a head kick. Tate tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Tate walks into a perfectly timed head kick by Burger and drops face first to the floor! Tate's eyes are wide open but he's not all there - he's just flopping around the mat like a drunk on rollerskates! The referee doesn't even start the count - he's called an end to the fight, with Tate in no position to continue!
