Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Howie Travis (ranked 4419 p4p, 5780 weight class) and Bob Fudge (ranked 428 p4p, 479 weight class). Travis has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bob Fudge was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Howie Travis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Bob Fudge! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Travis. Fudge does a little dance to reset his feet. Fudge is looking for the big counter here. Fudge doesn't manage to clinch there - Travis circles away.

Stepping on the scales for a second time, he still failed to make the required weight and after much deliberation, his fight with Mamed Khalidov was cancelled. |

Yates really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Exokwriglopok thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Yates's head. Exokwriglopok tries to stand and escape but Yates is controlling the position. Exokwriglopok keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Exokwriglopok seems to be working for a kimura but Yates defends the submission attempt. Exokwriglopok drops an elbow to the side of Yates's head. Exokwriglopok is pressing down on Yates's thigh, looking to free his foot. Yates is holding on for now.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stak jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Scott should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Scott tries to clinch but fails miserably and Stak counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Scott looks winded! Scott slips a jab and a cross from Stak.
Scott feints the counter takedown. Stak closes the distance and lands a one-two. Stak tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Stak scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Stak throws out a leg kick but Scott moves out of range and Stak only half commits. OH! Scott has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Stak smells blood and charges in for the finish! Stak unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Scott sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Brownie wants to sweep but no luck. Gustafsson wants to stand but Brownie has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Brownie jabs Gustafsson to the body, keeping him at a distance.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Gustafsson misses with a takedown attempt - Brownie sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Gustafsson wants to clinch but Brownie slips to the side and Brownie counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Brownie. Brownie wants to control from the top but Gustafsson keeps moving. Brownie is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Gustafsson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Gustafsson has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Brownie manages to get his head free but now Gustafsson has transitioned to an armbar! Brownie grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Gustafsson! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
