The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maica on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Coker. Coker obviously looking to wear him down.

and Coker counters by moving into the clinch.

Coker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Coker pulls out of a head kick attempt.
It looked like Maica was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Coker.
Maica tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Coker throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
A quick step to the side and Maica tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Coker has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Maica is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Maica looks to score with a jab to the body but Coker is just out of range.
Maica lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Maica counters with a nice body shot.
Coker looks winded!
Maica closes the distance and lands a lead uppercut that stumbles Coker back against the ropes! Maica follows up with a jab and a huge straight right that knocks Coker out cold! What a finish! Maica looks absolutely delighted, as he should do! Congratulations that man!

Veglin throws a right hand that Danilov ducks under and follows up with a left that Danilov also avoids with ease.
Danilov throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Veglin lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Veglin's coach down at Hawaii Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Veglin's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Danilov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Veglin moves forwards but Danilov connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Veglin lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Veglin closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Danilov crashing to the mat! Danilov uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!

and Veglin counters with a right hand to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Veglin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Danilov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Veglin scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Danilov to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Veglin away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Danilov got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!
Danilov is rocked!
Veglin connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Danilov out cold! This one is over in a flash!
