A very excited looking African King rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

and Veglin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Saunders throws a hook but Veglin avoids it easily.

and Saunders counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Saunders escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Saunders went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Veglin slips a jab and a cross from Saunders.
Veglin unleashes a big counter combination but Saunders bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Veglin keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Veglin looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Veglin throws a one two combo.

and Veglin counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Veglin tries to clinch but Saunders moves out of range.
Veglin throws a body shot but no joy.

Saunders closes the distance and clinches.

Saunders gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Saunders pushes Veglin back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Saunders lands a nice shot to the body.

Saunders pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Veglin closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Saunders crashing to the mat! Saunders uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!

Oh Saunders is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Veglin ducks right into an uppercut from Saunders.

Veglin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A quick step to the side and Saunders tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Saunders instigates a clinch.

Saunders breaks the clinch.
Saunders misses with a jab, cross combination.
Veglin falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Saunders to counter with a crisp jab.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Saunders misses with a series of wild punches.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Colestein Veglin will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Archer scores with a hook to the body. Danilov takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Nice uppercut lands for Archer. That snapped Danilov's head back.
Archer slips under a jab from Danilov.

Archer scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Danilov to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Archer away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Danilov got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Archer scores with a punch to the head.
Danilov is rocked!

Archer connects with a beautiful left hand that drops Danilov onto his butt! Danilov bounces straight back up though - he's OK. After the ref checks him out, we're back to the action.

Danilov takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Danilov is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Archer doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Danilov crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Danilov's bad books for that mishap!
