We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gilmore throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Harmon's waist but Harmon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gilmore off to one side.
As Gilmore backs off Harmon throws a huge counter combo but Gilmore manages to avoid it all.
Harmon stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Harmon wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Weston Gilmore. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gilmore crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Harmon - the referee stops the clock and Gilmore gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Harmon. Gilmore manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
The fight stays on the outside here - Gilmore looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gilmore moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Justin Harmon has been cut.
Gilmore misses with a head kick.
Gilmore closes the distance and clinches up with Harmon, looking for a takedown. Gilmore pushes Harmon against the cage but Harmon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Gilmore dives in for a single leg takedown but Harmon sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
As Gilmore backs off Harmon throws a huge counter combo but Gilmore manages to avoid it all.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Gilmore.
Gilmore shoots in but no luck this time.

and Harmon counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Gilmore is breathing heavily.
Harmon leaves Gilmore with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Harmon rushes Gilmore and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gilmore goes for a takedown attempt but Harmon pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Harmon throws a combination. Gilmore tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Gilmore takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Harmon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gilmore manages to avoid it.
Gilmore looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Harmon looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gilmore is fending him off so far but Harmon persists. Nope, Gilmore circles away and we're back to standing.
Gilmore looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.
Harmon lunges at Gilmore with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gilmore's hand.
Gilmore is rocked!
Harmon plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Gilmore to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Gilmore just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Justin Harmon!
