And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baker shoots in for a takedown but Bubmeister shows good takedown defense.
Baker avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Horrible takedown attempt by Bubmeister or perhaps it was just good defense by Baker, which made it look bad.
Bubmeister is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Bubmeister tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Baker defends well and Bubmeister ends up having to push Baker into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Baker has Bubmeister pressed against the cage, preventing Bubmeister from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Baker takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Baker manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
The crowd are getting on Baker's back here. They're not happy about his lack of aggression in the clinch.

Bubmeister tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Baker just stands there and leans against the cage.
Baker is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Bubmeister to keep the fight standing.

Bubmeister ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bubmeister no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Baker is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Bubmeister is striking but Baker is not phased and passes to half guard.

Baker is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Baker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bubmeister can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Baker is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Baker changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bubmeister looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Baker is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bubmeister is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Bubmeister gets tackled into the cage by Baker. Baker maintains the clinch.
Bubmeister manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Bubmeister closes the distance and clinches up with Baker, looking for a takedown. Bubmeister pushes Baker against the cage but Baker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Baker shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bubmeister but Bubmeister pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bubmeister seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Baker pulls Bubmeister in close to his closed guard and prevents Bubmeister from doing any damage or advancing position.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bubmeister tries a head kick but it misses.

No luck for Baker with that takedown attempt.

Bubmeister dives in for a single leg takedown but Baker sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Baker has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Bubmeister has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Baker is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Bubba Bubmeister has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Seth Baker is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Lovington winds up and cracks Fry with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Lovington looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fry with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Fry is trying to stand up here but Lovington is controlling him well.

That's time! Fry's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!


Lovington manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fry on his heels. He'll look to pass Fry's guard now, I'm sure.

Let's hope that Lovington has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Lovington swings around for an armbar but Fry sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Lovington's guard.
Fry wants to control from the top but Lovington keeps moving.
Fry passes Lovington's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Fry is looking for a kimura but Lovington is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Fry to get the leverage.
Lovington is looking for a sweep. Fry is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Grayson Fry.

The fighters circling - Antero throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Rolando has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Rolando there as he acknowledges the shot.

Antero drops Rolando with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Rolando looks back up at him and smiles so Antero waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Antero throws an overhand right that has Rolando reeling! Antero follows up with more punches and Rolando is out cold! This one is all over!
