With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tommy Chong Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Autio Saari! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chong Jr closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Saari's guard. Chong Jr tries to free his leg and advance position but Saari is retaining full guard. Chong Jr wants to control from the top but Saari keeps moving. Saari escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chong Jr gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Chong Jr tries to free his leg and advance position but Saari is retaining full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Saari is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Saari had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Chong Jr defends it easily. But no, Saari has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Chong Jr is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Saari has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Chong Jr is hanging on to Saari's back as he tries to escape.
Chong Jr definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Chong Jr looking to break Saari's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Saari remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Chong Jr will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Chong Jr working for the choke. Saari tries to escape but Chong Jr has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

Chong Jr is looking for the choke from the back position but Saari is controlling his hands well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Chong Jr slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Igwe throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sandoval sees it coming and avoids it easily. A jab from Sandoval finds it's way through Igwe's defenses. Sandoval misses the shot to the body. Sandoval slips a jab from Igwe. Sandoval fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Sandoval catches Igwe with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Sandoval scores with a hook to the body. Igwe takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Sandoval steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Igwe. Igwe throws a hook but Sandoval blocks it. Sandoval fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sandoval takes one on the button. Sandoval throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Igwe on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Nice defenses there by Sandoval.
And that's the end of the fight! Tristan Sandoval comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Sandoval has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Russell was covering up waiting for the punch and Vitali finishes the takedown easily into guard. Vitali is looking to work some ground and pound but Russell has wrist control. Russell can't keep his opponent in guard - Vitali advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Vitali is pressing down on Russell's thigh, looking to free his foot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vitali tries to free his leg and advance position but Russell is retaining full guard. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jovonovich throws a jab when Rahim was well out of range. Rahim looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Jovonovich bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Jovonovich definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Jovonovich swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Some bone on bone action there as Rahim checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Rahim has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jovonovich is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Jovonovich drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rahim gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Jovonovich decides to pull guard. Jovonovich keeping moving, preventing Rahim from controlling successfully. Rahim throwing strikes but missing. Rahim really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jovonovich. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rahim is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Rahim wants to control from the top but Jovonovich keeps moving.

Rahim is holding on here and Jovonovich must be using up a lot of energy. Rahim has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Jovonovich gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
