Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jari Virta (ranked 4807 p4p, 4811 weight class) and Ispa Hakkinen (ranked 416 p4p, 414 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jari Virta! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ispa Hakkinen! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hakkinen shoots in but no luck this time. Virta throws a wild combination but nothing lands. As Virta backs off Hakkinen throws a huge counter combo but Virta manages to avoid it all. Virta is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hakkinen sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Hakkinen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Virta but Virta pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Hakkinen isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Virta stacks Hakkinen on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Virta!

Hakkinen can't do much from the bottom here. We've been informed that Hakkinen has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Virta avoids the strikes from the bottom by Hakkinen. Hakkinen can't do much from the bottom here. Virta wants to stand but Hakkinen has his arm trapped.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hakkinen throws the kick towards the body but Virta avoids it. Virta lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Hakkinen jabs Virta to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Virta lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Virta lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Ispa Hakkinen has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hakkinen with a lazy takedown attempt and Virta counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Hakkinen is lucky that one didn't land flush. Jari Virta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ispa Hakkinen.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jari Virta. Well Virta has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Enqvist tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Forssell manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Enqvist tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Forssell paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Pentele is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Salo is surviving well by controlling Pentele's body position as best he can. Pentele throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Salo because Pentele loaded up on that one. Pentele content just to control the position here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Salo is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Ukkola fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Holgerson avoids it really well and circles away. Holgerson seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Holgerson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ukkola pinned against the cage. Ukkola gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Ukkola tries to sprawl out of it but Holgerson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ukkola manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Ukkola has a takedown stuffed. Atturi Holgerson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcus Ukkola. Ukkola takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Holgerson is defended easily by Ukkola. Holgerson shoots and misses and Ukkola counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Atturi Holgerson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ukkola throws a nice head kick!

Holgerson is fending him off so far but Ukkola persists. Nope, Holgerson circles away and we're back to standing. Ukkola fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. A cross from Holgerson lands. Marcus Ukkola seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Holgerson gets in close and instigates a clinch. Holgerson scores with a nice hook to the head. Ukkola jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Holgerson walks away with a smile on his face. Ukkola gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Ukkola misses with a jab, cross combination.

And that's the end of the fight! Atturi Holgerson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Holgerson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ahola really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johansson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Koski is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Lehto knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Koski on the ground. Koski drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Koski seems to have locked his on tight now - Lehto screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Koski, as he picks up the win!
