Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gabriel Frank! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gerry Brooks! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brooks takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Frank throws a head kick but Brooks moves out of range.
Frank avoids a punch combination nicely.
Brooks gets a clinch. Frank jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Brooks walks away with a smile on his face. Frank gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Frank shoots and misses and Brooks counters by moving into the clinch. Frank trying to land knees to the body.
With the fighters up against the cage, Brooks throws an elbow but misses. Frank working hard to break the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Frank has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Brooks avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gabriel Frank. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brooks has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Frank regains guard immediately. Brooks tries to free his leg and advance position but Frank is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brooks passes Frank's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Frank moves into full guard.
Frank throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Brooks is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Brooks advances position into side control! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brooks tries to stand but Frank is controlling his head. Brooks tries to advance to mount but can't. Brooks tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brooks taking a breather here. Brooks fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Brooks happy to just control the position for now. Frank is trying to control Brooks's posture but Brooks avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brooks throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Frank works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Brooks tries to pass to full mount but Frank defends it. Brooks slows the pace down in half guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Brooks throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Brooks prevents Frank from improving his position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Frank tries to clinch and Brooks counters with a nice double leg into guard. Frank working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Brooks. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Frank controls Brooks momentarily but Brooks frees himself. Brooks is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Brooks throws an elbow that misses. Frank uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Brooks's guard. Nice move by Frank! Frank tries to free his leg and advance position but Brooks is retaining full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Brooks pulls Frank in to control the position. Brooks wants to stand but Frank is controlling the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Gerry Brooks dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! Frank is looking to slow Brooks down with leg kicks. Brooks forces Frank back against the cage and clinches. Brooks escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Brooks shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Frank tries to roll over but Brooks keeps him under control. Frank won't allow Brooks to pass to mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brooks sitting and controlling from the half guard. Brooks missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Brooks misses with a head shot. Frank uses the momentum to regain guard. Brooks looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Frank wants to control the position but Brooks says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Brooks sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Frank defending well though. Brooks content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Frank trying to control but Brooks postures up.
Brooks stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Frank throws a series of punches but Brooks avoids them all with ease. Brooks has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Frank tries to clinch there but Brooks circles away.
Brooks closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Frank did well to prevent Brooks getting side control. Frank has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Brooks is working away from the top position though. Brooks seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Brooks wants to work for an arm triangle but Frank is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brooks has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Frank works to full guard. Frank looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brooks is one step ahead there. Frank has Brooks pulled in close to control his posture. Gerry Brooks has got the better of the ground game so far. Frank being controlled here, momentarily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Brooks in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Gerry Brooks showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Brooks manages to end up in side control. Frank wants to get back to his feet but Brooks is dominant here and he's now got Frank's back! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brooks has the hooks in. Frank is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Frank wants to get back to his feet. Brooks is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

Frank is trying to get back to his feet but Brooks has full control of the position and if anything, Frank has just worked his way into a worse spot. Frank covering up well under a barage of strikes. Brooks throwing sloppy strikes. Brooks avoiding Frank 's attempts to control his hands. Brooks really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Frank.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brooks gets his hands free as Frank looks to control. Brooks just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alex Chambers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Son Min Ho! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Min Ho lands with a nice combination. Chambers backs away looking to recover. Chambers fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Min Ho, pushing him back against the cage. Chambers looking for a takedown. The referee is keeping an eye on Chambers - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Min Ho breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Min Ho is defended easily by Chambers. Chambers shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Chambers showed some decent athleticism there. Min Ho is trying to escape back to his feet but Chambers uses the scramble to pass into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chambers in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Min Ho is looking for a sweep. Chambers tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Chambers has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Min Ho is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Chambers wants to control but Min Ho is keeping him busy. Min Ho tries to bench press Chambers off him but Chambers keeps the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chambers wants to stand but Min Ho has his arm trapped. Chambers wants to control but Min Ho is keeping him busy. Min Ho is trying to control Chambers's posture but Chambers avoids it. Min Ho really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chambers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Chambers wants to lay and pray for a moment but Min Ho keeps working. Chambers is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Min Ho looks calm but he's in trouble here. Chambers gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Min Ho is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Chambers lets go of the hold and Min Ho can pop his arm back in it's socket.

After the fight, Alex Chambers was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Pascal Rodin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Pascal Rodin slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Pascal Rodin has gone for a leg lock! Estes slips out almost immediately though and dives into Pascal Rodin's guard.

North stuffs the takedown. North tries for a takedown but Daniels sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Ricardo Daniels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Miles North. Daniels rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but North moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Daniels throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. North steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Daniels. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. North shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Daniels as he avoids it easily. North is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Daniels's half guard. Daniels is looking for a sweep. North is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Daniels looks for a takedown but North sprawls well. Daniels sets himself, and North steps forward looking for the clinch! Daniels avoids it this time. North looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Daniels! North is trying to get an arm triangle but Daniels is defending well. North throws a strike aimed at the side of Daniels's head but Daniels avoids it well. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jesse Mills! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rickity McStickity! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Marco Blurström and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mills tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but McStickity defends well and Mills ends up having to push McStickity into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. McStickity has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Mills avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Mills wants a takedown but no success here.
McStickity breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. McStickity closes the distance and clinches up with Mills, looking for a takedown. McStickity leaves Mills with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. McStickity lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Mills rushes McStickity and presses him up against the cage. Mills ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Mills no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Mills on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mills tries to get out of the position. Mills is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! McStickity has his hands clasped together but Mills extends and breaks McStickity's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Mills.
