Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious?#TD# Laitila closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kamenev's guard. Laitila wants to control from the top but Kamenev keeps moving. Laitila stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kamenev swivels though and keeps the full guard. #T9# Laitila has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kamenev is working away from the top position though. Laitila is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kamenev's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kamenev's back! Kamenev in side control, just content to control the action for now. Laitila tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Kamenev wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. #T13# Laitila being controlled for a moment. Kamenev is looking to take a break and control but Laitila is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. #T14# Laitila tries to control but Kamenev manages to take his back. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kamenev gets his hands free as Laitila looks to control. Kamenev tries to keep control of the position but Laitila is staying busy. Laitila tries to roll but Kamenev sticks to his back.
And that's the end of the fight! Kamenev wins on points by 16 to 6. A very excited looking Ivan Kamenev made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. |
