With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Radd Zayan! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dukes throws a shot from downtown. Zayan moves away and avoids it. Zayan is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Dukes lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Zayan backs up against the cage.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dukes trying to control the position from guard on top but Zayan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dukes looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Dukes bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dukes is looking to take a break and control but Zayan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Zayan is trying to buck Dukes off.

Wait, no, Zayan rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Dukes's guard! Nice work there by Zayan! Dukes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Zayan is working the combinations to good effect here. Dukes connects with a crisp jab. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Zayan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dukes to score with a decent uppercut. Dukes will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
And that's the end of the fight! Radd Zayan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Zayan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vann misses with a wild combination.

Cardoso definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Vann scores with a kick to the body.
Cardoso ducks under a wild hook from Vann. Vann bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Cardoso's head. A jab lands there for Vann. Vann misses with a kick to the body.

Vann postures up in Cardoso's guard and throws a big left but Cardoso blocks it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cardoso pulls Vann in close to his closed guard and prevents Vann from doing any damage or advancing position. Vann in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Vann throws a big elbow that misses. Cardoso keeping moving, preventing Vann from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice shot lands for Vann. Vann scores with a decent looking hook. Cardoso cracks Vann with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Matheus Cardoso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cardoso misses with a body shot.
Cardoso works Vann's body with a nice hook. Vann gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Cardoso pushes down on Vann's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cardoso drops an elbow to the side of Vann's head. Cardoso lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Vann looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Vann wants to improve his position but Cardoso is controlling well.
Cardoso seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Cardoso seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Vann does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Cardoso looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Vann with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Cardoso lands strikes from half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Vann regains full guard. Nicely done. Cardoso with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Cardoso is working Vann over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Cardoso working some strikes from top position. Vann tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Vann is breathing heavily. Cardoso punishes Vann with strikes from the back mount. Cardoso lands with a hammerfist to the side of Vann's head. Vann is trapped and Cardoso is scoring with shots to the head and body. Vann is trying to get back to his feet but Cardoso has full control of the position and if anything, Vann has just worked his way into a worse spot. Vann is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Cardoso.

Reyes tries to bench press Legend Jr off him but Legend Jr keeps the position. Legend Jr tries to move to full mount but Reyes actually manages to regain half guard. Reyes gets full guard. Reyes is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Legend Jr frees his head nicely. Oh but Reyes has switched to an armbar! Legend Jr is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Chang looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Chang tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. We've been hearing that Lazar has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Chang swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Chang really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Chang's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted?
