The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sincic fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kaine to the ground. Sincic is now in Kaine's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sincic trying to control but Kaine is working from the bottom.
Sincic tries to free his leg and advance position but Kaine is retaining full guard.
Kaine on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kaine tries to get out of the position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sincic stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kaine swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sincic is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Sincic wants to control from the top but Kaine keeps moving.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

It looks like Maverick Sincic has been cut.
Kaine scores with a jab to the jaw.
Sincic has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kaine finds it's way round the side to connect with Sincic's head.
Sincic is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Kaine engages and cracks Sincic with a massive lead left hook - Sincic tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Kaine is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
