Peterson throws a body punch but Dennis moves out of range.

Dennis decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Peterson can do anything to dispel that myth.

Peterson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dennis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dennis looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Peterson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
