Baroza stuffs the takedown.
Duboulay's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Duboulay's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Baroza avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Baroza stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Baroza stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Baroza wants it to stay on the feet.
Duboulay fails with the takedown.
Baroza definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Jorge Baroza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vincent Duboulay.
Duboulay changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Baroza tries to avoid it but Duboulay manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Baroza to the ground. Baroza escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Duboulay drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Duboulay shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Baroza as he jumps to the side.

Baroza cracks Duboulay with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Baroza has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Duboulay to stand back up!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Felix Dakat (ranked 1228 p4p, 2685 weight class) and Josh Jordan (ranked 98 p4p, 185 weight class). Jordan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Beguiled- Smashing Pumpkins kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Jordan lands a jab to Dakat's midsection.
Dakat tries to bum rush Jordan with a series of wild strikes but Jordan uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dakat seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Jordan misses with a looping right.
Jordan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Dakat slips under a jab from Jordan.
Dakat misses with a takedown attempt
and Jordan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Jordan throws a shot from downtown. Dakat moves away and avoids it.
Jordan just misses with a punch to the body.
Jordan takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Jordan missing with a left hand there. Dakat was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Dakat throws a right and a left that both miss.
The fighters circle momentarily. Jordan darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Dakat gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Jordan.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jordan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dakat's head.
Jordan throws a poor cross that misses
and Dakat counters with a nice body shot.
Jordan throws a lazy right hand but Dakat sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dakat scores with a jab to the jaw.
Dakat keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Jordan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dakat.

Dakat closes the distance and pushes Jordan back into the cage.
Dakat is trying to drag Jordan to the mat but Jordan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Jordan wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Dakat has him pressed against the cage.

Dakat ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dakat no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Dakat looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Jordan would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Jordan is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Dakat has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Jordan is looking to defend but Dakat has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Jordan! Dakat pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Jordan taps out and this one is all over!
