The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Remington has taken the fight to the clinch.
Cheese tries a body shot but Remington blocks it.
Remington has Cheese pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Cheese manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Remington is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Cheese is defending well.

Remington drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cheese pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Reese Remington. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Remington closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Remington seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Cheese for as long as he can get away with.

The cut above Nacho Cheese's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
