With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chase Villa! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zipporinio moves into the clinch successfully.

Zipporinio seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Villa for as long as he can get away with. Zipporinio can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Villa is looking to escape. Villa tries to hold on but Zipporinio postures up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Villa is in all sorts of trouble here.

He's pushed Zipporinio's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Villa wants to clinch. Villa shoots in but no luck this time. Villa throws a leg kick that is checked and Zipporinio counters with a nice double leg into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cool misses with a straight right. Cool fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Zayan unleashes a big counter combination but Cool bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Cool keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Cool definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Cool misses with a hook. Zayan ducked under it nicely. Sabre Jr seems to have recovered his senses. Sabre Jr leaves his chin hanging out and Ribeiro seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Sabre Jr crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Engberg for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. Engberg pushes Wood back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Wood manages to break the clinch.

Engberg uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wood. Engberg looks to score with a jab to the body but Wood is just out of range. That's one minute gone in the round. Wood slips under a jab. Engberg with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Wood to score with a decent uppercut. Engberg lands a jab to the head.

A swing and a miss from Engberg. Wood slips a jab from Engberg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wood thuds his right hand into Engberg's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wood misses with a double jab.

Sloppy strikes from Wood. Those never looked like landing. Engberg moves out of range as Wood strikes. Wood tries to clinch up but Engberg circles away and keeps his distance. A little feinted left hand from Engberg on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Wood takes one on the chin but seems OK.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barker moves in looking to clinch but Lazar pushes him off. Zoltan Lazar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lazar chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Barker can pounce on him.

Lazar is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Barker defends it well. Barker works his way to full guard. Good work.

Lazar won't allow Barker to sweep him here. Lazar chips away with some ground and pound. Lazar lands a couple of digs. Barker keeping moving, preventing Lazar from controlling successfully. Barker looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lazar trying to control the position from guard on top but Barker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lazar distracts Barker with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lazar in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Lazar trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Barker is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lazar is controlling him. Barker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lazar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Barker can do anything to dispel that myth. Lazar lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Schultz looks OK. Jonsson waves Schultz back to his feet! Schultz is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Good standup being displayed there by Schultz as he connects with a hook. Jonsson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Jonsson throws a right and a left that both miss. Schultz cracks Jonsson with a good jab. Schultz loads up on a big right hand but Jonsson slips the punch. Jonsson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Schultz sprawling to the canvas! Schultz rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Jonsson finish him?!
Oh Schultz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Schultz walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Jonsson swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
