The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Kersikov misses with a takedown attempt - McDonald sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. McDonald changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kersikov tries to avoid it but McDonald manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kersikov to the ground.
