Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brandon Spears! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tomas Torquemada! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Michael Johnstone and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spears moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Torquemada ducks under a wild hook from Spears. Torquemada is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Torquemada closes the distance and clinches. Spears gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Torquemada is trying to pull guard but Spears has him pressed against the cage. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Spears just misses with a elbow thrown towards Torquemada's brow. Spears tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Spears definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Brandon Spears has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tomas Torquemada. Torquemada shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Torquemada stands and steps away. Spears gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Jab by Spears.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Torquemada is defended easily by Spears. Spears connects with an inside leg kick. Torquemada fails with a takedown attempt. Torquemada tries to move into range but Spears moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Torquemada misses with a takedown attempt and Spears moves into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Torquemada is trying to pull guard but Spears turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Spears lands a nice elbow. Nice body punch from Spears - that landed with a thud.
Spears creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Torquemada's defenses. A quick uppercut on the inside from Spears. Torquemada tries for a takedown. No joy.

A battle for position here, against the cage. Spears lands a damaging elbow. Spears lands a nice elbow from the clinch. It looks like Tomas Torquemada has been cut. Torquemada has hold of one of Spears's legs. Spears is fighting the takedown attempt but Torquemada gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Torquemada is standing up over Spears. Spears looks to escape but Torquemada dives into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Torquemada in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Torquemada is working to tighten his grip on Spears's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Spears has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Torquemada is really squeezing tight and eventually Spears passes out! Torquemada breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

and Owens counters with a nice uppercut. A left lands for Owens. It looks like Hoss Dukes has been cut. Owens misses with a hook. Dukes ducked under it nicely. Dukes wants to counter the offense by Owens and move into the clinch position. Hoss Dukes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dukes pushing out the jab but it's not landing. An attempted straight right counter from Owens misses the target. Owens lands a really nice looking cross but Dukes seems unphased.

and Owens counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Dukes uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Owens. Dukes falls off balance throwing a combination
and Owens counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Dukes takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Dukes is rocked! Dukes slips a straight right by Owens. Dukes tries to counter by closing the distance. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Owens throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Owens dances in with a quick combination. Dukes is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Owens snaps Dukes's head back. Dukes stumbles backwards against the cage. Owens steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Dukes's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Dukes just didn't come prepared.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Guy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Malier moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Guy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Xavier Knight seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reilly throws a hook to the side of Knight's head but Knight sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
