5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Terry Capture! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Hugh Johnson and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Giggalo walks into a stiff left hand from Capture. A chopping leg kick lands by Capture. Capture bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Giggalo's head backwards.
It looks like Geoff Giggalo has been cut. Giggalo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Capture tries to avoid it but Giggalo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Capture to the ground. Capture escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Giggalo tries for a takedown but Capture sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Capture misses with a head kick.
Terry Capture seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Capture throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Capture misses with a body shot.
Capture dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Capture jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Capture feints and then cracks Giggalo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Giggalo down. Capture lands with a nice combination. Giggalo backs away looking to recover. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Capture lands with a hook. Giggalo tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Capture - that will leave a mark!
Capture scores with a shot to the body.
Giggalo is breathing heavily. Giggalo throws an overhand right that lands on Capture's shoulder, as Capture tries to avoid the shot. Capture throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Capture dips to his left and cracks Giggalo with an uppercut! Capture throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Giggalo takes a shot to the body in his stride.
That's one minute gone in the round. Capture digs a good body shot into Giggalo's ribs. Capture steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Giggalo is out on his feet! Capture sets himself and nearly takes Giggalo's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Almighty dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Samson. That did some damage! Samson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Almighty. Samson walks into a straight right hand from Almighty.
It looks like Freddy Samson has been cut. Samson misses with a wild combination.
Almighty wants to clinch up but Samson keeps it at a distance. Almighty fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Samson. Samson is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Samson avoids the head kick by Almighty.
Nice shot lands for Almighty. Almighty is looking to slow Samson down with leg kicks. Almighty fakes the leg kick and cracks Samson in the body. Samson takes one to the side of the head.
Almighty looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Almighty pushes Samson up against the cage in a clinch. Almighty breaks from the clinch.
An inside leg kick lands from Almighty. Almighty lands a big head kick that sends Samson tumbling to the mat! Almighty takes a step backwards and waves Samson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Freddy Samson's cut is getting worse. Samson drops his hands momentarily and Almighty needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Samson just on the top of the head. Samson drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Samson - he's done!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Noble tries to clinch up. Noble fails in his attempt to clinch. Du Plessis feints and as Noble raises his hands in defense, Du Plessis changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Du Plessis throws a big right hand that misses. Noble looking to control.
Noble is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Noble is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Du Plessis drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Du Plessis jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Du Plessis slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Noble is trying to get back to his feet. Noble wants to control but Du Plessis postures up. Du Plessis is trying to get an arm triangle but Noble is defending well. Noble tries to get back to half guard but can't. Du Plessis lands some shots froms side control. Du Plessis wants to control but Noble is keeping him busy. Du Plessis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Noble is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

You can see the frustration on Noble's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Du Plessis happy to just control the position for now. Du Plessis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Du Plessis decides to stand up, so the ref orders Noble to his feet. Du Plessis slips a jab and a cross from Noble.

Noble takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Du Plessis instigates a clinch. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Du Plessis scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Noble doesn't seem bothered though. Du Plessis looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Noble! Noble tries to hold on but Du Plessis postures up. Du Plessis content just to control the position here. Noble wants to control but Du Plessis is having none of it. The referee warns Noble that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Du Plessis has control of Noble's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Noble regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Faraj shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Mitchell looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Faraj throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Mitchell throws a body punch but Faraj moves out of range. A jab from Mitchell misses. Mitchell thows a body shot but no joy. Faraj slips under a jab. Faraj tries for a takedown but Mitchell sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Mitchell shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Faraj as he avoids it easily. Faraj misses with a takedown attempt - Mitchell sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Khaleeq Faraj. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mitchell throws a jab when Faraj was well out of range. A head kick misses from Faraj. Faraj misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mitchell leaves Faraj with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mitchell throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Mitchell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Faraj is breathing heavily. Mitchell misses with a two punch combination.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Mitchell! Faraj is backing up but he can't get away as Mitchell lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Faraj and ends the fight. Great knockout.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Howser throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gracie. Howser tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gracie was well out of range. Poor timing from Howser. Howser tries to move into range but Gracie moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. A slow jab from Howser misses its intended target. Gracie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Howser looks to score with a jab to the body but Gracie is just out of range. Howser will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Howser misses with a takedown attempt and Gracie cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Howser displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Howser closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gracie to the mat! Gracie manages to get full guard. Howser with a flurry of punches that miss. Gracie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Gracie throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Howser works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Howser is not content to let Gracie control the position.

Gracie throws a strike but Howser avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Gracie in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Howser wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Gracie throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gracie connects with a couple of short punches. Gracie postures up in Howser's guard and throws a big left but Howser blocks it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gracie gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Howser to score an easy takedown into full guard. Howser seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Huell Howser has got the better of the ground game so far. Howser trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gracie is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Gracie pushes Howser off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Howser is breathing heavily. Gracie is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Howser's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Howser's back! Howser is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
