With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bear Loman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brennan Calhoun! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Calhoun dives in and grabs Loman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Loman pushes down on Calhoun's head and hops out. Calhoun shoots in looking for a takedown but Loman manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Calhoun's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Loman appears to be looking for a big counter. Loman dips to his left and cracks Calhoun with an uppercut! It looks like Brennan Calhoun has been cut. Loman scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Loman jabs Calhoun to the body, keeping him at a distance. Calhoun shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Calhoun showed some decent athleticism there. Calhoun looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Loman trying to get back to full guard but Calhoun takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Calhoun controlling from the full mount. Loman avoids a series of strikes thrown by Calhoun.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Loman is looking to improve his position but Calhoun isn't that keen on the idea.

Calhoun has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Loman's face.

Calhoun has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Calhoun is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Loman can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Moshe Schneider! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Dirk Anderson and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meyers walks into a stiff left hand from Schneider. Moshe Schneider seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Meyers on the wrong end of a nice hook. Meyers walks into a stiff left hand from Schneider. Meyers is rocked! It looks like Braden Meyers has been cut. Meyers takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Oh Meyers is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Meyers takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Meyers seems to have got his legs back now. Jab, jab by Schneider - just one landing. Meyers slips under a jab. Schneider connects with a looping right hand.
Meyers takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Schneider moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Schneider lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Schneider has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Schneider connects with a body shot. Schneider with a nice cross. Meyers ducks straight into an uppercut from Schneider and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Meyers manages to regain guard straight away.

That was a close round but I would say that Tai Kong will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Keishin Smith's cut. That's time!
